All versions of the service plans includes free, automatic software upgrades of the Zonbu OS and application. Upgrades include new features, bug fixes, updates to the pre-installed applications, and sometimes new applications. They're usually released once month.
When you're logged in, your Zonbu periodically checks to see if an upgrade is available. If so, the upgrade will be automatically downloaded in the background - there's no need for you to do anything.
Once it's downloaded, you'll receive a pop-up window asking you to reboot your system. Do so, and the upgrade will be deployed.
Ensure your Zonbu is connected to the internet.
Go Start → System → Check Update.
A box will come up after a few seconds telling you whether or not a software update is available.
See the instructions on this page.
Version release notes are available here.
If you leave your Zonbu connected to the Internet, it should upgrade by itself. Usually it takes no more that half an hour, but if you want to be sure, leave it on for one day. Then reboot the Zonbu and check if your version number has changed.
If you're running the developer edition, you may run out of space during the upgrade process. It needs up to 1.2GB of free space. Check your available disk space with df and try to free disk space.
