Installing gcc?

Discuss any specific to the Community/Developer edition of the Zonbu OS: installation, modification, or running within a virtual machine.

Installing gcc?

Hello everybody!

I have tried installing the Zonbu OS on my Zonbu mini CF card using this:

I also managed to activate the open source edition and to get root access (though the instructions on the site didn't work for me - I had to manually add a custom /etc/sudoers to .overlay). Now I'm trying to install stuff, but somehow, gcc seems not to be installed. And gentoo without gcc is kinda funny, what with gcc being needed to compile gcc and all.

So, is there any way of getting gcc with the zonbu OS? I'd be really grateful for any pointers!

For the older version - download the tarball / install the "developer edition".

The new version appears to have gcc installed automatically.
