Why do I sometimes see a file icon with a red X
on it in File Manager? This is nothing to worry about, it simply means that the file
was deleted from your local cache but is still present and available on
your online storage. The next time an application accesses the file it
will be downloaded to the local cache. |
 |
 |
Are my personal files safe with Zonbu's online
storage? Yes! Files pass through a very strong encryption filter before being transferred over the Internet, and this
architecture allows us to transparently backup your files. |
 |
 |
Since my files are on the Internet, can I
reach them from other computers? Yes, using the Zonbu File Browser. With this application you may log in to your
online storage and add or delete files or edit them with the appropriate applications. |
 |
 |
What happens when my local cache is full?
The Zonbu Operating System manages the cache for you; when this situation occurs, files you have not recently used
are deleted from the cache — but not from your real, online storage. If you need a file which was pushed out of the cache
it will be downloaded by the system. In all cases you will probably rarely, if ever, notice activity around the local cache. |

 |
Can I access my files in the online storage
if I cancel my Zonbu service? Yes, for three months after account cancellation you will be able to use the Zonbu File
Browser to retrieve or delete all your files. However, you will not be able to add new files or change the files already there. |
